Unison Health’s Recovery Residence follows the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s (ASAM) placement criteria. Unison provides an outpatient medication-assisted withdrawal program in which clients receive medical services and support, opiate replacement medication, group and individual therapy. When that happens, both conditions can be treated at the same time with a customized approach that helps people achieve a happier, healthier life. Dual Recoveryįor many people, substance abuse is a way of self-medicating a serious behavioral health problem. These individuals may access AWM as a step-down from sub-acute detox, as a transition to active treatment services in either Medication Assisted Treatment, Adult Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment or Dual Recovery, or to withdrawal only. Ambulatory Withdrawal ManagementĪmbulatory Withdrawal Management (AWM) is a level of care for individuals who are in mild to moderate withdrawal from substances and have stable, supportive housing and access to a support network. With group treatment, individual counseling, family counseling and case management, our licensed professionals help individuals meet their personal goals. In addition, we provide the tools to sustain sober living during and after completion of the program. Unison Health works closely with people struggling with substance use disorders, helping them achieve and maintain sobriety.
